Pool cleaning in Kendall, FL

Screen cages on most pools, predictable sizes, and afternoon storms that undo a week of chemistry in an hour.

What a screen cage does and does not stop

Most Kendall pools sit under a cage, and that is genuinely the best thing about working here. A screen enclosure keeps out the bulk of the leaves, the lizards and the palm frond that would otherwise end the week. Caged pools are cleaner, they cost less to service, and they hold chemistry better.

What a cage does not stop is what matters. Pollen goes straight through the mesh in spring and lands as a yellow film. Fine dust goes through. Rain goes through, and rain is the main thing that changes your water. So a caged pool still needs weekly testing, it just needs less netting.

We also check the cage itself. Torn panels let in exactly what you paid to keep out, and a small tear at a corner spreads fast in wind. If we see one we note it on the door tag with roughly where it is, so you are not hunting for it.

Afternoon storms are the real enemy

From late May through September, Kendall gets a storm most afternoons. Two inches of rain into a 15,000 gallon pool dilutes free chlorine noticeably in one hour, and it washes phosphates off the deck and the lawn straight into the water. Phosphates feed algae. Diluted chlorine cannot keep up with fed algae.

That combination is why Miami pools go green in about 48 hours in July while the same pool sits fine for a week in February. It is not neglect, it is arithmetic. It is also why we do not skip a week here in summer, and why the visit that matters most is the one right after a heavy storm run.

If you are going out of town in the wet season, tell us. We will bump the chlorine before you leave and plan the visit for the middle of the trip rather than the day after you get back.

Standard pools, so pricing is straightforward

Kendall pools tend to run 10,000 to 16,000 gallons, caged, with a screened deck and one or two skimmers. That is the most predictable setup in the county, so quotes here land in the middle of our range and they usually stay there. No trees over the water, no salt air, no well water. Just steady weekly work and storm season.
